the media, the shorter it's life. Factors such as UV light, heat and humidity
take their toll on the dye used in these CDs and
the reflective layer in both CDs & DVDs Archival Gold CD-Rs have been tested to last
300 years and Gold DVDs for 100 years.
They are manufactured with 24 carot gold
as the reflecting layer that will not tarnish and
become unreadable and a patented
dye layer that is significantly more durable than
standard CDs. If long term storage of images or data is
a concern, Archival Gold CD-Rs and DVD-Rs are the
answer.
